The office of William Peters [landscape architect] was established in 1983. It is operated by a professional staff which includes several licensed landscape architects, designers and administrative personnel. The primary focus of the work is the design of innovative, artful landscapes. These include numerous institutional, religious, educational, commercial and private, residential garden projects throughout the western United States, Texas and Mexico.
The work always addresses real problems in the natural landscape and responds to considerations of schedule, program and budget. The gardens are made with an eye toward making memorable landscapes that will age well over time and look like they belong to the land. This is as true for a garden in the vast, open landscape as it is for the small urban space. The gardens are thoughtful and quiet. Each has a sense of rightness and of belonging. |
